Ive written a few posts on the stories of my old neighbor who had finally gotten her kids taken away.
They are back home tonight. First thing they wanted to do was to call me and my kids. (Her four kids are the same ages as my four kids, and theyve all been friends since birth) I thought I was going to cry because I didn't think that i would see them again.
The reason they gave them bck after these few weeks was that the courts and prsecuter was trying to build a case against her for drug use. But she doesn't do street drugs. So the UA came clean, and in court today the judge said the kids needed to be reunited with their mom.
The thing that really bothered me was that the kids were taken from their home, and seperated for over a week, and then sent home. This was really tramatic for them. If they were just going to give them back, they shouldn't have been taken at all.
The mother got a weeks vacation from them, got her big settlement and didnt buy the kids anything, and was doped up on adavan the entire time. Spent the night at the casino. Had a coule of friends crashing at her house. If only the courts seen that. Sure is too bad that they dont hire private investigators to follow around people trying to get their kids back from the state.
Im glad that they will not be split up, and I hope this was an eye opener for the mom. At least the kids have positive role models like me and my husband to look up to.
