There is no Good IN us~
The Christian is the one who admits this. For, Goodness is External, and Given; and those who claim that they "do not Judge," expose who they are not; they are NOT Christians.
The lack of Understanding is rampant. Those who lack Judgement spread this Lie every day. It is sickening. And, it is DECIETFUL. I DO realize how useful this Lie, this lack of Understanding, can be, for the confused...a Fool and his Folly repeated, almost without notice; and, in convenience for them, without consequence. I've noticed, also, that the unsure shy away from such a subject; because to confront stupidity, Authority* and confidence are required.
It is time for a Teaching:
Judgement
Nothing is more misunderstood by the ignorant, and few of His Teachings have been so mis-used. Here, they are actually abused. Judgement is our RESPONSIBILITY.
A New "Parable:"
If you see your neighbour; and a stranger comes to that neighbours home, and extends his hand; and then hacks off that neighbours extended hand with hidden sword;
Then, that stranger comes to your house. When he extends his hand in deceit once again, do you offer your hand for him?
Or...
When you walk the poorly-lit road, and the pursuing footbeats grow louder. You turn, to be set-upon by Evil. That Evil is cloaked in black, and carrying the truncheon.
Next Evening, you find yourself upon the same road. Upon the sound of footbeats, You turn, to be greeted by Good. That Good is cloaked in White, and carrying the Word.
Next Evening, again, you find yourself upon the poorly-lit road. When the pursuing footbeats grow closer, WHY DO YOU TURN?
***
What IS it that the Christ asked of the Fools, wielding Stones? What IS it that the Christ commands of the beautiful prostitute*, at the moment of Her Salvation? Not ONE Fool, here, knows. You love to open your mouths to entrap, but succeed only in exposing your own stupidity.
He calls for Judgement. He teaches Judgement. He calls for Discernment, and Wisdom; all, for use in Judgement. How often have you read, from the deceitful, that we "mustn't judge?" How often have the TRULY "self-righteous" used this deceit to excuse themselves FROM responsibility, or to attempt to make YOU appear as Evil, or a Hypocrite? In YOUR Judgement, you will not be deceived. You will know that they Lie, because they are now Judging. Mock me for MY Judgement, if you will. Also, prove me to be wrong.
The NEXT TIME a Liar believes that he defeats you with the Christs Word, be Correct, and Righteous, and Confident. This Liar attempts ONLY to deceive you. Judgement is necessary. It is Wisdom. It is Common-Sense derived from Discernment, His Gift to you. That Liar succeeds only in being deceived, himself; for HERE is the Truth;
Judgement is our connection to Reality. ~

I like Corinthians 4:5 because it tells us that what appears to be may not always be what is, and only God knows what is in the hearts of men.
"Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God."
What do you think about that according to what you've written here?
Questioning is Beginning; fulfillment of questioning is Judgement. Discernment is the Gift. Those without the Gift, are without Authority.* Those without Authority,* are without Judgement.
Sue, He calls us to Judge. I will respond when You've answered my question.
Not a day goes by without an imposter of Faith claiming that He DIDN'T, nor should we, Judge. I've had enough of those who use the Christs Word for their twisted games.
There was no question in your statement, any more than judgement is discernment. Your statement was a lot of gibberish to me and I have no idea what those asterisks mean. There is condemnation in judgment, but there is no condemnation in discernment. We are told to have a discerning spirit but not a condemning or judgmental one. They are not commutative properties. There is discernment in judgment but there is no judgment in diisceernment or, at least, according to the Word, there shoudn’t be. We sometimes do what we shouldn’t do, but things don’t become just and right because man makes certain sins popular.
What I do see is that I did ask you a question that you ignored. I gave you a quote from Scripture, and I could give you a dozen more, none of which gives me the right to judge. I asked you how that quote fit in with what you had written and you gave me no answer, but instead, the gibberish. Where in the Word of God does it say that fulfilllment of questioning is judgment, or is that the Word of Mark-John?
When you start to talk about discernment and authority we start to get into the realm of a Person of the Trinity that I will not discuss publicly on this site, nor have I ever, I would be much too afraid of grieving Him should others engage with no respect for that.
Perhaps you will judge that as cop out or an evasion of the issue. That’s fine. I’ll concede the whole argument to you rather than do that though. I certainly hope you haven’t judged me as an imposter. If that’s what you meant by that statement back to Kay, that’s not a very accurate judgment.
I know you to be very emotional, Mark-John, and you really feel deeply about a lot of things. That’s why I like you. Sometimes you have to check those emotions and use that energy for some reasoning. God doesn’t hold fools responsible sometimes because it depends on the intentions of the heart, and only God knows that. If either of us is a fool, only God knows our intentions, and only God will judge accordingly.
I have asked a question, and I have answered You. If those words fall upon Your ear as "gibberish," please Forgive me.
These are not my words, but those that are Given to me.
I am a little confused by this? This article makes you think....
You have misunderstood His Word. Will you think just this once more? Answer this question:
When He commanded that you remove the plank from your Eye, what was His Command to You?
When you have answered this question, you have understood the Christ. Then, you will also have the Answer.
Mark-John, I did not receive your ping... It says you pinged me, could you resend... Thanks
Here are actual examples in the Bible of those who have not sinned:
John 9:3 :: King James Version (KJV)
Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents
There are three right there, identified as such by Jesus Christ himself. If you think Jesus Christ is a liar (and that does appear to be your contention here as well as elsewhere), then there are other examples.
Luke 1:5-6:
In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. 6 Both of them were upright in the sight of God, observing all the Lord's commandments and regulations blamelessly.
That's two more.
Revelation 14
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
That's 144,000 of them.
Of course, that is also from the New Testament, so perhaps you just don't believe in the New Testament. There are also examples from the Old Testament.
Job 1:1 says:
In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.
Or if you don't trust human words, here is what GOD says:
Job 1:8 (KJV)
And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
Job 1:22
In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.
Have you ever heard of the story of Job? I thought it was rather well-known, but apparently you missed it. That is another example of one who did not sin.
There are still more examples of course, but that is certainly enough. Even one would be plenty to show that the "everyone sins" message is false, and I have provided you with 144,006 examples.
So your "everyone sins" and "there is no good in us" message is demonstrably false.
John
..."go, and Sin no more..."
The Bible says we are not to judge, but then in a few books later, says we are to judge. So what is the truth there? Are we or are we not?
I would rather have my information straight forward, and not constintently changing. This is the reason I left the belief, it changes views so very much through the Bible for me to accept.
This has to be a view you are either willing to accept, or not, but not one that should be forced on you.
You have just had it explained; and, within His Words, it is available to All.
As with Dan, I Value your opinion.
