I auditioned to be in the play It's A wonderful Life land I am going to play Mrs. Martini.
| Mrs. Martini is the wife of Mr. Martini who owns the bar Martini's. She is the one who asks George if she can have $17.50 when everyone is trying to get their money from the savings and loan when it is failing. We started rehearsals on the 29th of September. The play runs from November 29th through December 20th. South Valley Civic Theatre in Morgan Hill is putting on the play. I loved being in Scrooge last year and really wanted to be in It's a Wonderful Life, since it's one of my favorite Jimmy Stewart movies. I am excited and this one is not a musical so there won't be any dancing, although there are a couple of scenes where we will be singing Christmas Carols. I figured since this one is not as busy as Scrooge was that even after recently having major surgery, I could handle doing this. It's going to be fun |

In our old town, they had a small community theater, and I always wanted to join, but never had the chance with the kids still being too young, and Nick not having set hours. I think I may see if there is one here in town that I could join. It would be fun being involved, even if it's only backstage.
It's a Wonderful Life is one of my favorite holiday movies!
