Finding Beauty Every Day

Sky and I went to the library this morning, while Roshane was at school. We were supposed to walk home, but when my husband dropped us of, he said he was going to pick us up again.

We were happy about that since, we would have to walk quite a bit to get to Rohane's school, and then from school to our home.

Sky and I filled up the tote bag with books about American history, slavery, the solar system, animals and lots of easy reader books for Roshane. We also got a Harriet Tubman movie, two solar system movies and two Dr. Seuss movies. Skyler grabbed one of the solar system movies, and he did not want to let go. On our way out of the library we took a quick look at the books for sale and we found a Scholastic book about the solar system, which we bought for 50 cents.






We had 30 minutes before my husband was supposed to pick us up, but I knew it could quickly turn into an hour, so we walked around a big pond by the library, and then we started walking around our local air port.

We saw lots of beautiful sights, and Sky was especially excited about the birds and the air planes that flew right over our heads.
