I laughed so hard at the jumper cables one. I literally had no idea that you carried jumper cables around in case whoever you were helping didn't have any until I was about 18. I figured you needed them for your car(note that I drove a brand new car at the time so probably never needed them) so you didn't have to wait extra time when someone stopped to help you.
