McCain's top fundraiser and "consigliere", Tom Loeffler, has received approximately $15 million from the government of Saudi Arabia since 2003, including $3.5 million since he started working for McCain. His firm, the Loeffler Group, has helped the Saudis arrange meetings with administration and congressional officials which, in this writer's experience, involve the Saudis lying their faces off and trying to convince people that their citizens are no longer the world's top financiers of Sunni terror groups and the Taliban. They are, of course, and Loeffler has made a fortune helping the Saudi government deflate pressure on them to do more about it. Imagine how much he could make squiring Saudi lies around the West Wing if McCain wins the presidency.

Obama, is personally tied to a terrorist William Ayres. Obama personally received $102,000 in campaign donations from Freddie and Fannie.
It is one thing for the company of an advisor to do business in such a way, and something totally different to do it yourself. Obama has the greater tarnish.
Sue I had a really big cat once and a really small dog...the cats crap was much bigger.
And this is just for starters Poliwink
A 2004 photograph from a report by the Homeownership Alliance, an advocacy group for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, shows John McCain with Ken Guenther, a former chairman of the group, left, and David Lereah of the National Association of Realtors.
Mr. McCain, the Republican candidate for president, has recently begun campaigning as a critic of the two companies and the lobbying army that helped them evade greater regulation as they began buying riskier mortgages with implicit federal backing. He and his Democratic rival, Senator Barack Obama, have donors and advisers who are tied to the companies.
But last week the McCain campaign stepped up a running battle of guilt by association when it began broadcasting commercials trying to link Mr. Obama directly to the government bailout of the mortgage giants this month by charging that he takes advice from Fannie Mae’s former chief executive, Franklin Raines, an assertion both Mr. Raines and the Obama campaign dispute.
Incensed by the advertisements, several current and former executives of the companies came forward to discuss the role that Rick Davis, Mr. McCain’s campaign manager and longtime adviser, played in helping Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac beat back regulatory challenges when he served as president of their advocacy group, the Homeownership Alliance, formed in the summer of 2000. Some who came forward were Democrats, but Republicans, speaking on the condition of anonymity, confirmed their descriptions.

Look them up Dan...the truth is never beneath me.

Exactly Ron.
You have 4 choices...vote for one of the other candidates Indepent etc. Which in theory is fine at least you are expressing yourself. Vote for Obama. Vote for McCain or dont vote at all.
Which would you prefer? No one votes?
If you dont like either candidate thats fine but why do you insist on slamming anyone who does?
If my state allows a write in, I'll vote for Ron Paul. If not, I'm looking into Chuck Baldwin, but I'm not sure about him yet. If I have to I'll vote for Bob Barr.

Ya I could see that right away Sue....not.
Does no one read tags?
I am misunderstood.
I can answer that question. But I would rather you ask this guy to do it.
As for the topic of this article, my understanding is that everything you say is true and I would hope that that's the case. Again, my understanding is that everything you say is true and I would hope that that's the case. America believes John McCain is a terrorist and they aren't even looking at Obama as a terrorist because, well, John McCain has so much more experience with being a terrorist. I think at the end of the day, Americans will go back and look at his track record and know that John McCain is a terrorist. Now that I've said that, I am calling for everyone to stop pointing fingers.
How about you Lori?? :)
I may run myself but I may have ties with mafia..I knew one guy who wore this special ring and took me out to dinner once...then I moved out of town.
Ok , everyone in Washington has taken donations and that is legal if done correctly.
To me the important thing is what the candidate has accomplished so I look at voting records and what the candidate says and if he is truthful.
My intuition, my common sense and my experience tell me Obama has a better character, more honest and truthful than McCain.
I judge people and usually most of us with unbiased and clear mind can judge a person instinctively.
I never been wrong about character, I can read people like a book by their actions and mannerism.
Obama is not perfect... but I know at this time he is for the country and what is best for us.
If you look at the people who support him and who are more knowledgeable than we are then you should feel reassured, unless they are all conspirators.
Beside to get where he is he was checked out very well.
On that account I find this accusations no more than gossips and stupidity on the part of the accusers, and maybe slander..
by the way Obama and Biden are coming to my town...rally on saturday...should be great!
There is no connection between Obama and terrorists either. It's all just lies and distortions dug up by the desperate Republicans. Most people reject that sort of campaign for what it is. They have no good ideas to offer to get us out the financial mess the Republicans let happen.
It is interesting to see someone write about unethical ties of McCain and see the responses such as yours. Personally, I think it is time we all forget the character assassination by association on these candidates and look at what each is proposing, if you can get McCAin to tell you what he is proposing.
It is great fun when trying to smear Obama by his known associations but people really wince when it comes back on their candidate! Sauce for the goose?
And what is your proof that Ayers ever was a terrorist, and that he still is? If he is a terrorist, why is he not in prison? And when he was supposedly being a terrorist, Obama was all of ten years old! How long a record does Ayers have? And just all has be been charged with? And, has he ever been convicted of any of them? Inquiring minds want to know!
It's not where I've been, it's the conclusions I don't jump without evidence and the recognition that Ayers is ancient news and not really relevant to this race. You haven't answered my legitimate questions.
Can you accept a challenge?
Show me that Obama is being influenced significantly to commit terrorist acts and it will change my mind about for whom I vote! Show me ancient factors and a casual relationship and I'll get a laugh out of it. If you can't show me the influence and recent illegal wrongdoing, I'll know it's because you simply have decided to try to confuse the issue with false considerations and innuendo! I'll bet you that Ayers hasn't thought of terrorist acts in at least twenty years, if ever.
Congratulations on being RAOC's MOTD!
