This is why they are hiding her:
COURIC: But he's been in Congress for 26 years. He's been chairman of the powerful Commerce Committee. And he has almost always sided with less regulation, not more.
PALIN: He's also known as the maverick, though. Taking shots from his own party, and certainly taking shots from the other party. Trying to get people to understand what he's been talking about - the need to reform government.
COURIC: I'm just going to ask you one more time, not to belabor the point. Specific examples in his 26 years of pushing for more regulation?
PALIN: I'll try to find you some, and I'll bring them to you.
The Rick Davis question. She repeats the answer word for word when probed again. What does it tell you? Memorized talking points.
KEEP HIDING HER or WATCH THE POLLS GO DOWN THE DRAIN.

Enough said. Wonder what the excuses will be.
she invited the questions by saying that McCain is a reformist on the economy.
There is no way a rational person could have watched this and walked away thinking she is anything more than a puppet and a liar. Some people think I use the word liar too easily, but I think living the truth, honest motives, and being direct all count as much as direct statements. She was dishonest in a number of ways:
"My understanding . . ." is dishonest.
"I would hope that that's the case . . ." dishonest.
The statement about not pointing fingers and working in a bi-partisan manner shortly after she made the absurd "Americans are not waiting to see Obama's response," was dishonest. Extremely dishonest.
"More than a heck of a lot of others have done . . ." Maybe not as bad as the others, but dishonest.
The introduction - She has taken time out from meeting with world leaders - DISHONEST implications
Poor Katie (and I am not a fan) looked like she might cry or puke for a minute.
(BTW, Jared, your transcription is depriving her of her no doubt well-practiced folksiness. What I hear is "I'll tryda findja some and bring 'em to ya.")
We really NEED intelligence in the White House.
Funny thing is that all I have ever heard that the VP does in the Senate is cast the vote in a tiebreak situation. Who knew they did so much more? Oh wait, that's right they don't!! Sad that the person that wants the job doesn't even know what it is all about!!
