I am writing this post to let my friends and connections know that I am catching up on over 2,000 emails dating back to the beginning of September. These emails are not on my Gather account - they are sent to my Gmail account. I have my friend settings where I am notified when a friend shares a post, pic or video so that I can comment on it, because that's what friends do. Anyway, I got caught up in the SummerPics promotion, starting my group Elect McCain Palin 08, writing my daily newsletter for Living a Digital Lifestyle and writing my weekly newsletter The Jacksonville Jaguar Perspective. Normally, I can handle this with ease, but I have had a flare up not only with my interstitial cystitis, but also with my neuralgia from shingles that I had last year. So, I am on pain meds daily which puts me to sleep, and when I am not on here writing and researching, I am usually sleeping my day away.
So, I have decided rather than deleting all that email, I am putting a generic comment on most of the posts. Some of the shorter posts I can actually comment on, put most will get a generic comment. If you are offended by that, I am sorry, but you will be getting points, and I am also leaving you a 10 rating if you have your ratings turned on.
So, I apologize for leaving generic comments, but until I can catch up, the older posts will be getting generic comments.

I just wanted to say I am finally going through my currently over 6,500 pieces of gather new mail that is in my inbox on here.
