There hasn't been a section about my journal in a while, here, and it's not due to not having pages to share, but rather to time to put together these articles, er, posts. LOL
Anyway, following the amusing approach to the illness that is Inner Critic I did this page comprised of magazine clippings. There were actually many more that I wanted to use, but I wanted to limit this to only one spread, so as not to make Inner Critic too proud of her work.
These phrases were the ones that I felt fit the situation the most.

I chose a plain colored background to allow the words to be the sole focus of this layout.
While this is fairly straight forward, I'm going to go into a bit of detail on the choices. The first one, Everybody's a Critic adresses the actual critics in life both within and without, but primarily the ones within yourself.
Stress. Less: In short, just CREATE, don't worry about what others think or how perfect it is or isn't.
What are you worried about? Why worry how perfect it is?
Lost: Feeling lost among these feelings of being and producing the perfect art (both imagery and written word)
Decisions, Decisions: Be free or allow this to continue.
You Can Fight Back: I can stop this.
Sleep: Sleep revitalizes one and it's a way to fight back and to
Relax: Another way to fight back.
I've not devoted any more pages to the Inner Critic - lest I give them a big head, LOL. And I don't plan to, either.
