Problems with Boomertowne!

Is anyone else having problems with Boomertowne?

I havent been able to log in for 4 days now! I can load any other page except BT!

Its driving me crazy, and on top of it I ordered a card about 3 months ago and still havent recived it.

Any idea what the deal is?

I had $500 worth of cards on order- spent a lot of time on that site, supported the site, etc. Never saw a penny. :(

I never signed up...but there are people trying to get their money through the claims system...look around for the articles...Connie who does the what's happening on Gather today had an article...good luck.

I just went threw and read some of the articles.

from what I gather, there was alot of cheating on the site, someone got sick, and no one wanted to invest in the company.

BT owed me 2 gcs, but this serves them right for cheating all their members and just being plain incompetent to run a site properly. You know, maybe if enough of us file complaints we might just get something out of it, who knows. I filed a claim with the BBB over a medium company, although I didn't get any type of compensation I at least got the satisfaction of knowing that others won't get ripped off as well.

Yeah, I only got $150 in gift cards and was still owed $300 more. I did contact the BBB about Boomertowne.com . Probably won't do any good, though!

I have posted photos on the site. Will they just delete them? I miss it. Even without the gift cards (which I never received), I would still use the site, if they had not taken it down. I do think, at least an e-mail explaining the financial difficulties should have been done.

BT owes me 200$. I guess I will never see it. I do miss the site. HP talked about cheaters being one of the reasons the site shut down? Well what did he do? He cheated a lot of people out of GC'S. Well I guess I will just move on. So I joined Gather tonight.

My man and I are owed 2 ($50 VISA cards) and 2 ($25 Target gift cards. It really is a bummer and I won't trust BT again. I put my faith more in Gather and have never had a problem yet with Gather, except recently - communication problems with Gather. Not sure what's going on? My man emailed Gather about points not updating about a week ago and still has no response. Weird? ...
