What hurts is having your vote not count or being denied the right to vote by some trickery on the part of the election officials.

I get the day off to vote, so I suppose I should actually do it. I'm not looking forward of running through the gauntlet of sign-holding people though. I might need a bodyguard or I'll start shoving people like those stars when paparazzi get in their faces.

one thing both of these guys have learned?

not to take anything for granted.

and petitions for the absentee ballots to be counted are already typed up
all they have to do is fill in the state's name and file them with the courts

trust me

military absentee ballots (75% for obama)
will be counted
or else

Paul, you really should vote. I've never seen too many sign holders on Election Day. Usually they keep them in a seperate area away from the doors. It's not bad.

I recently saw an Absentee ballot and was surprised. One of the questions, is why you are asking to Absentee vote - and one of the choices was because you are incarcerated in jail. Nowhere on the form did it ask if you were in for a felony, which is I understand - one reason you can't vote.
