I didn't hear him say what you claim he said. Do you have a transcript to provide us? I was watching Neil Cavuto on Saturday, too. I know Fox News leans right, but they provide both sides to the issues. They put out the truth. That's the bottom line. I can't understand why those who don't watch Fox News such as Jim G., give them a phony name and never watch them. I've watched CNN and see the liberal stance without any reporting on the conservative side. I can go on with this, but it's a waste of time, so I'll close my comments here.

Loaning to minorities

I don't see where Fox is a republican network. CNN has Lou Dobbs, though he is more of a Libertarian, and the other CNN has, crap I cannot remember his name, that's how much I care, who is a republican type. Democrats have MSLNBC,CNN, both of them, the three major networks, and public TV.

I, however think Cavuto is an ass. If you look at what happened to these people that are loosing their homes, they got into houses they could not afford, at teaser rates they knew were going to skyrocket in a number of years. Why would you do something so STUPID as but a half million dollar house when you can afford a 60 thousand dollar house?
As a Libertarian, I say let the chips fall where they may, learn your lesson and stay within your means. Let Wall Street bite the bullet.

Well Barbara I know that you and Ms. Palin like to reduce Senator Obama's entire to career to just what he did for a few years after graduating.
After Senator Obama graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School he could have went straight to Wall Street, made a bundle, then come back asking for taxpayer handouts. Instead he took a low paying position in an intercity as an organizer of a district larger than the town that Palin was mayor of. Some people respect community service. You apparently do not so we'll move on. He worked as a civil rights attorney. (Quick, run to wikipedia and see if you can find any articles on radical civil rights attorneys.) He taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School (google it, quick!) before becoming an Illinois State Senator and then a United States Senator.
That should keep you busy but when you are through would you perhaps address this article. I provided you with a link you requested to document what Cavoto said. So now you can comment on Cavuto. If you instead only choose to use my article to post unrelated links as part of your propoganda campaign, I will delete them. I consider that spamming.

Instead, he was being accurate in his reporting. I have many sites I would like to provide the readers to show that minority groups have a higher incidence of foreclosures. That's just fact. Oh, Kay, one more thought on this subject before I quit this completely. Saul Alinsky wrote the book, "Rules for Radicals" talking about community organizers, how to overthrow the government from within it. Things like that. Obama is one of his avid followers. So, if you want a radical in the White House, vote for Obama. He'll take this nation to cleaners. But, I suppose you didn't read the link, you probably just scanned it. I don't watch any news, I am getting all the political stuff I can handle here on Gather, and reading it carefully, you are all being my educators on this election. I guess I will try and find out when the debates are on and maybe listen to them, or read what comes on Gather after them. I stopped watching the news, any of it, so long ago , as it took away my personal thinking process. I read the news, and I know that is slanted too, but at least when I am done, I don't have the picture of someone saying something one way or another planted in my mind. When I go to vote , I am going to have to make up my mind, one thing I won't do , is stay home, Get Out and Vote all.

I did my own search, thank you very much. But, I have given links to many articles in the media that show that minorities are hit hard with foreclosures. So, what Neal Cavuto was saying was the TRUTH, actual fact. Not racism as you would suggest in your comments in the article. That is just hate mongoring.

Faux is the voice of the corrupt, racism GOP, so naturally, the comments views, and especially the OPINIONS viewed on that network are going to be racist. Let's face it, without hardcore racism at its hard care, the GOP would simply cease to exist. They've relied heavily upon the vicious racism of the deep south ever since the DNC abandoned that swath of ignorant asswads 40+ years ago.

The most upsetting thing to me about Faux "news," isn't that it's a rightwing propaganda station that distributes dishonest rightwing propaganda and racism on a daily basis, but rather, that its viewers have been proven to be the most ignorant people in the country. Wow that was a really racist statement. Funny thing is I don't know too many black people with home loans. In my town a lot of us are in rented homes or apartments. Bad credit risks have nothing to do with race. People are people. some are trustworthy and pay their bills, some don't.

It's hard to believe someone said CNN is Democrat when most of their reporting about McCain is positive.

It truly is sad. It really is. I will als say this: Soem minorities brought homes that they COULD afford. They mortgage they were quoted and the financing they were given were actually doable. However, their was one criteria that many were not aware of or educated about--even non- minorities---and that was the ARM (an adjustable rate mortgage) Many of them were blindsided because they did not understand that given and ARM at 6% can, in the six months become 11%!!! They didn't have the knowledge to understand that an ARM--especially for persons with not the best FICO scores--was a debt trapped and a scam being pulled by many mortgage and finance companies. Who, in the end were stripping these people of their dream homes. The Majority of them forst time home buyers. They were never schooled on the differences between a FRM and an ARM. They assumed that a fixed rate mortgage at 8.6% for 15 or 30 years were way better that a ARM at 4-6%.

How dare he make that statement....but then again, he was only saying what many people are thinking; but at least have the nerve to say it behind closed doors without a microphone or camera!

I wish Fox News would truly meltdown.
