HOW MANY HOPE THAT O.J. GETS TIME???............

I have been watching the O.J. Simpson "trial" off and on for about a week now. And, while it is not quite as interesting as his murder "trial" a few years ago, I have to say that it has had its moments.

Right now, it looks like it could still go either way.

Has anyone else besides me been wondering where O.J. keeps getting all this money for high-priced defense attorneys???

Anyway.....I was just curious whether or not anyone else has bothered to watch this legal travesty taking place in Las Vegas.

Do you think O.J. will finally get some prison time for this one??

Or do you think he will just slip out of it like he did before??

Is he being "railroaded" by the Vegas D.A., ya think??

Or do they finally have him dead to rights??

Or does anybody really give a crap???

I hope that OJ gets it this time. He deserves to be put away for a really long time. Yes, how can he afford these high priced lawyers if he had to sell all his stuff to pay for Johnny Cochran?

I think that Blake didn't do it. I was not obsessed with Blake but I was with OJ the first time around. This time I don't really care. I haven't been watching it and I hope he gets put away for a very long time.

he is guilty. they have him on tape. I watched a little of the trial, but I can't stand to see him sitting there looking arrogant like always. He has an income that the lawsuit can't touch. That is where he gets his money. But I also think lawyers make a deal with him so they can become famous for being his lawyer. Who heard of Neal Gallanter before the OJ mess? I'm a native Floridian, and I would go out on a limb here and say that I would never have heard of this attorney if he didn't represent this famous/infamous criminal.
He is slippery, uses his race and his used-to- be-popular... ity to wiggle out of punishment. If he gets off this time, there is no telling what he will do next month or next year. He is a criminal and needs to be put away.

yes - he should pay for this crime - and he should have to pay for the other one for which he was acquitted and then arrogantly wrote a book about it. Put the juice in the can and then under the jail.

He should not only pay for the crime, but his money should be dipersed among the Goldman family while he is in prison, and he should stay in prison for life.

I have not been paying attention to this trial. I really don't care.

I believe that in O.J. Murder Trial number 1 (the criminal case) there really was reasonable doubt and so he should indeed have walked as he did. The American court system worked.

I believe that in O.J Murder Trial number 2 (the civil suit) the preponderance of evidence was against him, so making him pay the victims's familiies was only right. The Amercian court system worked again.

The way I feel about it is this. The man was tryed and found not guilty of killing his wife and her friend Ron. Not haveing been a wittness, I don't know if he did it or not. This is a seperate trial. So let the chips fall where they may. I would hate to be accused as well as hated for the rest of my life for something I did not do. O.J is a tuff person to defend simply because the guy come's off as an ass-hole. But haveing that said like it or not, he was found not guilty.

I cannot stomach the man as a human being period. I DID read his book, because the proceeds went to Ron Goldman's Fund, NOT OJ, and it was disgusting how arrogant and ignorant he was. He did it and got away with it, then wrote about HOW he got away with it. "IF" I had Done It? Give me a break!

I hope they nail him for something!

This is something we can agree on, Berf! I haven't been watching this trial, because I got so upset when the muder trial went so bad. And I hate to see people put in jail for anything they didn't do, but in this case, even if he didn't do it, I hope they find him guilty. It would serve him right for getting away the first time--but it still wouldn't make up for it.

I don't know and don't really care if OJ is guilty and should go to jail. He got off on a far more serious crime, and since then it seems to me his life has been one sad episode after another. He reminds me of former DC Mayor Marion Barry.

He is on trial for armed robbery. I believe he got off on the first trial of the murder of his wife because of bad prosecution attorneys. I do know that his own family believed him guilty. I was sitting in the kitchen of my brother-in-law with a cousin of OJs' who stated that the whole family knew he was guilty.

I reside in Las Vegas. The jury will convict him this time, on many of the counts, and yes he will finally serve some time in a Federal Prison. So sad when a murderer is allowed this much publicity and still free to walk the our streets. Lock him up and throw the key away for eternity.

Stupid, arrogant, son of a bitch, should have been locked up after he butchered Nicole and Ron Goldman. Watching his smug ass in court then was awful. To have to put up with it again is uncalled for. Maybe this will finally lead to a sentence for the man. Sadly though, no justice will be done for Nicole or Ron.

From all that has been stated thus far, in retrospect to this case, it appears he is guilty. I am sure that this time if the evidence proves such the jury will have no qualms finding him such. It would be ironic if this time he is incarserated, considering he was almost surely gulity of those two murders in the first case.
Despite the chance, he may get away with it once more, I truly believe in one way or another the man will pay in the end. As it stands now I do not believe he, has the following he once had, nor the popularity he once had, as there are many who no longer have any respect for him. His book, I am sure was the final undoing, in the few who may have still felt he might have been innocent.

The murder trial has no bearing on the robbery case. That is a pre-requisite for jurors, do not let the outcome of the murder trial affect the robbery trial

really had no idea he was on trial, would be nice to see someone with money do some real time for crimes committed...not this 5 months in a hotel suite followed by house arrest crap that seems to be the going currency...i'm telling you what, if that was a standard punishment more people would do crime to get the vacation

Leave him alone and stop assuming he killed that crackpot girlfriend he had ! and as far as what he 'is getting away with now', if you did not see him do anything criminal or wrong, why keep speculating ? It just so happens that by him being 'in the media' so much, his popularity rose just as it did when he played football. People just need to stop looking to put away someone just because of the color of their skin, their financial status, their popularity and their ability to rise above common human error !

I never did think he actually killed his wife and the innocent by stander...but I do believe he hired someone to do it. He is stupid but not dumb in this matter, and as for the rest of it, well, I feel sorry for his kids...such nice kids and their mother did such a good job in raising them...O.J. is sick. He should do some time and get alot of therapy, mandantory therapy. He is another football guy who was put on a pedastal and made to think he was above the law.
