I received the Scrubbing Bubbles Action Scrubber starter kit because I am a Bzz Agent, and if you are interested in becoming one yourself you can go here.

The Action Scrubber Starter Kit contains:
1 Flexible, durable handle
1 Reusable storage tub
4 disposable cleaning pads
The first time I used the Action Scrubber, I was very hesitant. I normally do not like the disposable items that come out, as I think they are a waste. I usually buy the 10 pack of scrubbers at the dollar store though, and I throw them out after use any way.
I started out wetting the bathtub and the walls of the shower, and then I started scrubbing. The Action Scrubber does not make the cleaning much easier than normal, and you still have to put in some muscle power to scrub the shower clean. However, I was pleased that I did not need to put gloves on, as my skin did not come in contact with the cleaning product because of the handle.
After cleaning the shower I rinsed it off, and it sure looked clean, but not cleaner than when I usually clean the shower. My normal product is the Scrubbing Bubbles soap scum.
Although the Action Scrubber is only suggested as a shower cleaner, I decided to try and clean the sink as well, as I usually use my normal sponge to clean the sink too. This was a little harder, as the scrubber is not as flexible as a normal sponge, and it was difficult to get behind the faucet.
The first time I threw the cleaning pad away after use, but the second time I decided to leave it on and put it in the reusuable storage tub, and see how well it cleaned later on. I have now found that there is still a bit of power left in the pad after cleaning one shower/bathtub and a sink, as I have used it for speed cleaning the sink twice since.
Positives:
- Convenient
- No need to touch the cleaning product = no need for gloves
- It cleans the tub well
- Can be reused
Negatives:
- Not as flexible as a normal sponge
- Difficult to clean faucets
I did decide to buy a kit for myself as I had a coupon, and I found a mail-in offer in the coupon circular. The price for a kit is usually $3.99 - 4.99.
There was another mail-in offer form in yesterday's (Sunday) paper. If you didn't find it yet, go take a look.
You can also print out a coupon for 2.75 off the Action Scrubber at www.scrubbingbubbles.com, or you can find other coupons for products at The Scrubbing Coupons website.

I will however have a look at the website coupons, because I'd love to try their new scrub pad for glass stove stops.
JR a great review as always - thank you!
Thanks for the review.
I'm not into cleaning wipes or toilet cleaing kits - too wasteful.
Rae, I am about to use mine again today.
Rose, due to the prize, I will probably go back to my 1 dollar scrubbers once I run out, unless I can find another great deal. I love the scrubbing bubbles scum and I have used it for about 7 years.
Sarah, I think a lot of these disposable products are just waste, but I do throw away the normal sponges after use, which is why I figure this product is no more wasteful.
Rose, I just checked I don't see any oven cleaner product either. In fact I only see bathroom cleaners on the website.
Phyllis, I hate cleaning myself. When I was a kid I used to clean my parents humongous house, and what a drag it was....the only good thing about having a small apartment is less floors to clean.
I am glad you like it Amy. I still think I had to scrub quite a bit though:)
Sophie, I would like to make the step into green cleaning products, but I have been a bit hesitant. My hands are very sensitive, so I usually use gloves for everything including peeling potatoes.
Marianne, what do you use to clean with? Maybe you could give us some tips:)
Michelle, I have heard that the shower cleaner isn't too good. I never got this, but I have been curious about it.
Minipin I really love the scrubbing bubbles scum, its the best I've found. I am sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time cleaning with your legs and back, I am sure it can't be easy.
I will not be buying it again...
Chris, a good thing the kids are big enough to help out:)
Holli, I actually had this problem the first time, but the second time I used it, it stayed on.
I will have to try this out. My shower is killing me. I scrub and scrub and just can't get rid of the water spots. I use the scrubbing bubbles spray and have even tried the new one, with the funky blue head on it. It just doesn't get it to the way I want.
Thanks!
