Ralph Nader is a consumer advocate, lawyer, author, and has been named by Time Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential Americans in the Twentieth Century.
For over four decades Ralph Nader has exposed problems and organized millions of citizens into more than 100 public interest groups to advocate for solutions.
His efforts have helped to create a framework of laws, regulatory agencies, and federal standards that have improved the quality of life for two generations of Americans.
His groups were instrumental in enacting the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and the Safe Drinking Water Act.
In the past decade, Nader has dedicated himself to putting people back in charge of America’s democracy, launching three major presidential campaigns.
Because of Ralph Nader we drive safer cars, eat healthier food, breath better air, drink cleaner water, and work in safer environments.
I like where he stands on the important issues facing our society.
I think he's going to get my vote. Why isn't he getting yours?

I don't know why his efforts have never panned out as a major competetion but it hasn't.
and it's going to take away votes from Obama.......and if you think there's no diffrenece between Republicans and Democrats....LOOK AT THE LAST 8 YEARS!
If you live in a 'safe' state, vote for Nader.
If you live anywhere else, a vote for Ralph Nader is a vote for John McCain.
What?? Be real, do you really want McCain and a continuation of the disastrous Bush policies? Have you looked at McCain record regarding women's issues??
THAT"S NOT SMALL GOVERNMENT! THAT"S BIG BROTHER!
WHY AREN'T YOU VOTING FOR RALPH NADER?
He tends to focus on single issues. Single issue politicians never become national leaders, their church is too narrow to attract enough votes to win nationally. They can work well at the local level however, and an independent voice is not a bad thing in legislative chambers.
In this election Ralph will split the liberal vote, as he has in the past, and that may not deliver the result that many people want.
I didn't want to turn this into a thread about abortion.
Not to mention the Republican Party has no views that I agree with.
I understand that you guys voted for him in previous years, and that it sucks that he didn't win. But, unfortunately that is in the past. There is nothing to do to change that. I see that future generations are now becoming more aware of the shape the economy is in, and the impact war has had on the country.
This new generation are the next leaders of this Nation, I would hate to think that everyone is in the mindset of "Oh well the little guy will never win". I don't live in a World of impossibilities ...but a World of possibilities. I foresee that we will be needing change now more than ever.
Not just for our economy, but for the planet. It disgusts me that we have the technology to have solar powered cars and other technologies that are less harmful to our environment yet we do not use it.
I think the main point is that it is noted that people are getting tired of the bullshit.
Voting any 3rd party would be better than voting for the ones that will keep this country in the same shape it is in.
