My son received a bike from the Moose Lodge

We were contacted by the Moose Lodge,  they have a charity going on to supply special needs children with bicycles.  It is an Amtryke bike and he loves it.  The bike is really neat, it even has a bar on the back so that I can push it if I need to.  It is pedaled by his arms and legs, but mostly arms.  If any of you are interested, you may want to contact your local Moose.  They are doing it nationally, not just locally.

He does love it and can ride it around the block a couple of times. A nice change from sitting in a wheelchair.

I bet it was. It was amazing the amount of people that showed up when they gave it to him. It was just so cool. He loves it and it is something that we never could have gotten him otherwise.

I would really love to get one of those for my daughter who has special needs as well. she has physical therapy at school but I haven't thought about checking out about getting one of these for her as they cost so much at the stores and my husband works at toys r us and we can't even afford one. glad to hear your able to get one.

Go to the ambucs website and fill out the paperwork for one. They have it right there, if you cannot afford one. Theirs are running about $700. You could also go to your local Moose Lodge and ask. My son loves his.
