Last Day of Summer at The Beach

The weather was beautiful this morning, and the boys and I took advantage of the great weather. We did not get up as early as usual, but we still got to spend a couple of wonderful hours on the beach.

I know fall is right around the corner, but it felt like a perfect summer day to me. The beach weather was perfect with 90 degrees and a slight breeze. The waves were high, so it was not really fit for swimming, but we did take a dip until the waves got too high.  The color of the water was beautiful, and the birds  and the surfers were enjoying the beach weather as well.

What a wonderful photo-essay. What beach is this, because it sure doesn't look or sound anything like the beaches we have in WA state. LOL

Lucky for you, you can do this all winter too....while we wear our boots, and gloves...in yucky frozen slush, on gray days...when the roads are slick...can I move in with you?

Beautiful photos. I haven't been to the beach since Monday because of the high waves and rough water. DH went and said it was windy also. It's been pretty cool here also so I wouldn't be swimming. The water temperature has dropped to 81 as of yesterday.
