I Started a New Group

I just started a new Group.  It's for posting your photos, writing and anything on your mind.  It is called Groupemails, where all your group e-mails are welcome and encouraged.  Let other members in the group know about your latest work, get comments, rating and points.  Please check it out and if it's a group you'd be intrested in then please join!  The address is groupemails.gather.com

I love groups like that but dont like the mass mailing. It clutters up the mail box. Good for points though.

I think it is a good idea Trudy.
I know some people don't like getting lots of emails but it is nice to have a specific place that it is okay. Can you email just the people in the group?

I hope I am reading this wrong. It looks like you are starting yet another group with no purpose and inviting people to post just anything, regardless of quality or content, and to flood mailboxes with requests to come "rate and comment" even if the content is something as worthless as "name a word that starts with the letter N"? Please, tell me I missed the REAL point of this group.
