Oh wow, that is such a beautiful building. And what interesting things you've found inside. I love to explore old places like that, you just never know what you're going to find. I usually end up like a little kid in the candy store. =-D
These are great photos. I love to explore old houses like this. Hubby's kind of a chicken, always afraid we'll get arrested for trespassing or that the place will cave in. I admire your adventurous spirit!

Elaine, I can see that you and I are kindred souls, in this respect at least. That building calls to me, too, and I would have done exactly what you did (although, I probably wouldn't have been smart enough to have my camera on hand at the time - lol!). Thank you for sharing your adventure with us.
What a find indeed. I too am surprised that so much of the stuff inside is still intact as it seems in our society nothing that isn't nailed down lasts for very long without someone taking it.
That's very neat - I like things like that - I recently went hiking at a local state park and they had an old building in the middle of the woods - not as neat as that, but still cool, wish I had my camera that day - Nice shots!
bet it belongs to that house behind it, i would not have been brave enough to have went in but would have gotten road side shots around here you might get shot if someone sees you poking around their stuff. i just love that old stove! Im amazed the stuff had not been stolen out of there already
