Thanks everyone for all the awesome and thoughtful responses with my picture trouble. I am still having troubles but Gather has responded to my last email and I gave them the link to the last post. So if you would be able to help me again I would be doubly grateful!!!
This is what they wrote:
Hi Molly! Our head of development here came back to me with 2 more questions that he'll need explored in order for us to test our hypothesis of what's going wrong here. You've done a marvelous job helping us collect information on this! Do you think you can do it a bit more? I'm going to paste it here for you, verbatim: "To drill in further, I need to know two things:
1. Do people who have trouble seeing these photos see them faster/more reliably if they are not logged in than if they are logged in? We have seen this behavior ourselves, and want to see if it is consistent.
2. I think I need more details on what happens when somebody sees a "white screen", since this doesn't fit our hypothesis. Does it take a long time before the screen appears, or does it appear instantly? Is there any sign of any error message from the browser (in IE there might be an alert message on the lower left to be double clicked on for more details)?"

1. I just replicated my original results.
----- I clicked on "photos", got the thumbnails for page one,
----- then clicked "next" to see the next page fine,
----- but when I clicked "prev", I got back to the page which
says "Molly O's Photos" but is blank below that.
2. There is no error message anywhere on the screen.
3. It takes a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally long time to load whether it's the blank page or the thumbnails page.
I'm not very smart on the use of these machines, so I don't know exactly what screen shot is. If you can think of anything for me to try let me know.
It says done loading and it's stays white,I refeshed and it's still white.I'm using AOL browser today and it's the same as with IE.I just checked.
I hope they get it fixed soon.
Hmmm, ok just as I was typing the first sentence, low and behold, your photos opened up for me! That is the first time! Usually I sat and waited and nothing happened. :)
