I spent about 20 years working in Brokerage. After the birth of my child, I opted to work locally. I didn't want to be more then a 10 minute ride to school should I get a phone call.

I started working for a company that supports artists. I knew, and still know, very little about art. Working here has awakened an appreciation for art that I never knew I had. A lot of artists are struggling, and they shouldn't be. Art is everywhere... the design on your blouse, the shape of your curio cabinet, the pattern on your curtains, etc. We, "SO" take the artist for granted. We don't realize that when the BOE is cutting back on art & music that it affects every industry.

Anyway, I'm happy to be working for this company and around art. We, along with our partner company have introduced a new US Patented Technology for the permanent identification and documentation of Fine Art, Antiques, Jewelry, and collectibles. They are the coolest things! I had to add a picture!! (I'm sure some of you were wondering what th photos I were.) What they are, is a self-adhesive tag, one is about the size of a quarter,

the other about the size of a period on your keyboard.
