"just before he flew off to Hollywood for a fundraiser with Barbra Streisand."
"Let me tell you, friends, there's no place I'd rather be than here with the hardworking men and women of Ohio."
unless it's a dinner where he raised more than $5 million at a Miami hotel On Monday night. so much for his prohibition on raising private money.
McCain helped bring in , and his campaign has found ways to both raise money and spend it through coordinated efforts with the RNC. According to Republican sources, money is pouring in to a joint fundraising committee that can legally accept up to $70,000 from a single donor.

LOL!!! Did you see the Doonesbury series where his (McCain's) people were trying to get entertainment talent for the RNC through Boopsie's agent? All they could find was z-listers, while the DNC was snagging all the top LA names. I kept waiting for the punch line to be that they'd end up having Jimmy Thudpucker as the entertainment!
Apparently this has been going on on both sides since 2004

Looks more like smart politicing to me.
You all want some cheese with that whine?
A: His lips are moving.
Sad, but true.
As Trump says, and I KNOW he is an Obama supporter:
The Almighty dollar, except -- if possible -- not just a dollar,
Donate to Obama‘s Campaign
or
https://donate.barackobama.com/promise
I might be going to a Battle ground state
to work for Obama
still working out the details
That was a great film!
How much pain do we have to endure before we SCREAM ENOUGH?!!!!!
Uh... he just endorsed John McCain on the Larry King show TONIGHT. I guess you don't know a lot of things ;)
Pretty sure Obama was charging $28,500/plate and raised double the amount McCain did. All McCain is doing to trying to keep up -- and thus far, Obama has raised far more money and spent more money... and yet he is trailing in the polls! LOL Lovin' It!
You make an excellent point. All the money in the world won't make his empty suit elitist persona any more palatable to most Americans.
He's now trying to explain to all his contributors that he'll be spending $39,000,000 for Florida alone between now and election time. He's trying to buy the vote but doesn't yet realize the people of America see what he really is. That's why McCain will win.
that the polls don't show
people 18-29
why, because they're smart enough to look at the caller ID
18-29 year old voters along with women and seniors
are tired of this crap
the economy in turmoil?
guess what?
winter in ALASKA and ARIZONA!
THAT'S WHAT!!!!!!!
You may be right. The part of his persona that many can't stand is the color of his skin! Although that is less of a problem today, it does still exist. And that is the one thing he cannot change. But he has also energized new voters who will help offset that bias. Only time will tell.
Well, most conservatives don't get polled because they're AT WORK! But don't worry, we always show up on the most important poll -- election day!
1. When 90% of black folk vote for Obama it's not racism, but if a few percent of whites vote for the white guy.... OMG... stop the presses.
2. If a white person does not vote for Obama it's automatically called racism!
3. And when McCain does win, the libs will be screaming racism and the election was stolen.
Looking forward to President McCain and Senator Obama working together in Jan '09.
It is a fact, a hard, cold, simple fact, that there are a number of people who won't vote for a black man, no way in hell. And you know that to be fact. I've met and talked with a number of people who fit this. Most of them, quite proud of it!
That does not mean at all, that every white guy who doesn't vote for Obama is a racist! It may simply mean he is a Republican. And, even the racists have a right to be racist! Your jump to conclude that any mention of color, involves total and complete racism makes me wonder. I am pleased that the number of actual racists today are far less than the percentage of those back when Obama would not have been allowed to eat at the same lunch counter as I. That is a tremendous advance and speaks well for the many who have adjusted and recognized the basic rights of all citizens.
You neo-cons have a very eclectic concept of racism and define it however suits you purpose at a given time.
It is not when McCain wins, it is if McCain wins, just for the record. He may, and if he does I'll pray for his health to continue throughout his presidency!
Sarah is beginning to look like another Spiro Agnew.
