Under the Salemi Sun?

A town in Sicily is selling these Villas for $2.00.  The town requires rennovations which will cost about $100,000 but then you own a villa in a quaint town in Italy.  Sounds too good to be true?  It's for real.  The town is a ghost town currently, but the mayor wants to revive it, and is making this possible.  I don't know but if I were ready to retire, I'd certainly consider it.  The town is called, Salemi.  Sounds tempting if only I had $100,000.
