Sitting next to you,
In Heaven up above,
I  pledged that forever

I heard you say as I fell
Off the clouds to Earth
The new place I'd dwell.
I knew I would find you
My love still deep inside
I grew up so all alone
So many tears I'd cry.
I felt your presence near

When I went to church
And heard about the doves
Flying from your head

Thought you weren't there
