Mass e mail, yikes!!!! How do you feel about this?

I cannot stand all the impersonal mass emails. How do I stop them from coming in, asking me to look at their links?

Click on the email and then block sender

You either block those whom you don't want emails from, or if you discover that a certain group is sending them to you, you find out if you are a member of that group, and you remove yourself from that group. Or you delete emails from your inbox, like the rest of us.

Turn off email notification of incoming emails on Gather...then you never have to go there but once a month or so...and if someone really wants to let you know something personal, hopefully they will ping you or leave a comment...wonder what I've been missing!

Block the sender if it's really something that you have no interest in. Otherwise, you will continue to be inundated.

I just delete them myself. Espically after I have rated all of my friends. A few Ai check out but not all of them.

I just delete them. Finally found out how to use the block sender a little while ago and am using that because some names I started noticing were sending quite a few emails day after day.

I was wondering the same thing. Who has time to go thru all that? But then I don't want to miss something sent from a friend. I guess I'll try blocking.

I just delete them. If I get alot I will block them,.. I dont have the patience to even think of sending a mass email...

Yep, remove yourself from groups that mass email and block repeat offenders who go out of their way to mass email their whole friend's list.

Block the sender. Unless you are a friend or even if you are a friend and has send me over 5 mass emails, you will be blocked.

I accidentally joined a couple groups that did mass e-mailing whenever anyone posted. I got out of those quickly. Now I just use the block e-mail feature and only get a very few e-mails any more.

It looks like you have your answer. Just block teh user in your emails. If you notice a group allows them emails..you can tell which one because it will have the group name first. If you don't want to recive them. You need to leave the group.
