Imagine if you were a little boy whose overly religious parents had never allowed you to watch TV in your whole life, then one day you got to watch First Blood, which was the first Rambo movie. It would have blown your friggin' mind, and that's exactly what happened to a young boy named Will in Son of Rambow. Seeing that movie set his creative juices flowing, and he started writing out the script and storyboards for what would become a movie he makes with some classmates. The plot of his movie involved the boy looking for his father, Rambo, which obviously was influenced by the boy's own need of a father figure in his life.
If you were ever one of those kids who, like me, made home movies in your back yard, then you must see this movie.
