Our Trip To Quassy Amusement Park In Middlebury Connecticut

    Last week we spent the day at Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, Connecticut. It was a very fun day. My youngest son had a ball. He got to ride every ride in the park except for the smaller kids rides. He was on cloud 9. I was happy because I got to take lots of photos and eat lots of good food. We had our office picnic catered there so we got in for free and also ate all day for free. It was quite fun.

     Quassy, which was once called Lake Quassapaug Amusement Park. Quassy celebrates 100 years this year. The actual amusement park was not built until 1937 though. When I go to Quassy it is like stepping back into childhood. Everything is the same. It is a very nostalgic place. My children always have a good time there.

Looks like fun...glad you all had a good time! I love amusement parks, and I can't wait until my son is ready for them--he does love kiddy rides at the fair, so I know he'll enjoy them too!

I've never heard of Quassy..that looks like a great park! I love that it' s on the beach and has the paddle boat rides too.. I love those! Looks like a great place to spend a weekend..hanging out in the park on the rides and on the beach and stuff. Maybe on one of my trips home to visit I might have to check it out. I looove amusement parks.
