There is a wind and rain advisory here in the midwest. It is nothing compared to what those in Texas went through but it is still a bit spooky, with high winds and lots of rain. All my garden pots are overturned and I've seen a couple of roof shingles go flying by.
Even so, I turn to the news and see what Texas is handling and I can't complain. Not one bit. I hope I'm wrong but I think we'll be in for one heck of a winter, too.
The weather reminded me of an experience we'd had after a major hailstorm, handling home insurance payments and repairs that were covered under our policy.

When it rains I don't need to water.
If I don't water my water bill stays low.
I love the beach but don't live there.
One of the reasons is hurricanes.
Stay safe.
Was going to see a concert tonight but decided with bits of the house blowing down and branches all over, and the wind not letting up, we should stay home.
Earthquakes I can live with, been through a lot of hurricanes, it's those damn tornadoes that scare the living (fill in a word of your choice) out of me.
Thanks again for the helpful hint.
