There is so much more than what our eyes can see.
The unmistakable scent of the perfume of a loved one, who has passed on..
The dream that you dreamt that felt so real.. As if they were still with you..
A soft touch on your arm, when no one is there...
The voice that calls your name, just as you are about to make a big mistake..
A shadow that you catch out of the corner of your eye.. When there's no one around...
That stranger who seems to appear out of nowhere.. Just to pass on a few words that make your heart smile..
You've smelled it, seen it and felt it...
I believe that we do not pass from this life and become nothing.
Our spirit stays very much alive...
Our soul's journey continues...

Good stuff.
It's a awesome thing .. isn't it? :)
me, too.
literally.
upon occasion, i have re-entered Reality...and wept for hours. -that's how "true" and "sweet" my dreamscapes can be--they dwarf this life, and make of it an insignificant and ugly thing...
I was away at training..
Thank you for your comments everyone.
I know exactly what you mean.
Although... those moments are sad. That's not what they are meant to be..
Our hearts cry for the beauty of these dreams and the moments that they give us with our loved ones.
They are reminders and I believe that they are visits..
Our loved ones come to us in our dreams.. because we are much more at ease with the idea of the visit.
These dreams feel so real...
What a gift they are.
How bittersweet...
Mom's are always with their children.
She visits you... no doubt. :)
I think it's wonderful that your Papa visits you like that.
My first experience was when I was just a little girl. My Grandpop died.
A few days later... I woke my parents up by talking in my bedroom.
When they came in they asked me what I was doing. I told them that I was talking to Grandpop. I told them too, that he was smoking a cigar and wondered why they couldn't see him.
Later in life... I realized that he was saying goodbye. I was told that being the first Grand daughter... I was the apple of his eye.
Your story reminded me of that.
love and hugs...
Girly Comments & Graphics
I agree with you.
Thank you for the comment. The graphic that you attached is so pretty. :)
It's funny.. everytime that there was a family dinner at my Mom's house, my Grandmom and I would be in the kitchen doing the dishes. Just her and I... talking and laughing. She washed, I dried.
Now that she is gone... sometimes, when I am doing the dishes... I smell her perfume.
I makes me feel good. Like my dear friend is still right by my side.
