Who in the heck would ruin a great dish of mac and cheese with lobster?
I am always up for "fusion" type cooking, but this one is over the top. I can't believe someone would pay an exorbitant price for fresh lobster, and then mix it into macaroni and cheese.
Better yet: grill or steam the lobster, serve it with the butter, and nibble on some of the cheese while it cooks. Save the mac and cheese for another day.

We have added ham chunks to macaroni and cheese before when we have had leftover Easter Ham as an example though.
Not worth the price. Especially when it tastes like you drudged your tongue on the bottom of the ocean.
I used to get Food and Wine magazine, Miss H., I remember that award.
Lobster doesn't hold a lot of appeal for me anyway. I can take it or leave it.
