Shadow Dancing (haiku set)

darkness overcomes
moonlight streams in the window
our two shadows dance

we rise and we fall
like the ocean's tide are we
giving and taking

night time is my joy
in the darkness you are there
my dreams are your home

your whispers carress
your touch is my undoing
your breath is my own

i wait for sunset
soon i will feel you near me
the moon calls your name

shadows on the wall
gentle breeze upon our skin
we wait for the morn

This is really great! When I was younger, for a (brief?) time I wanted to write romances. But I guess the sci-fi / horror genres were more my speed. It's obvious you really have the skills in this area. Thanks for sharing this!
