Working from home is a difficult task, I've been doing it many years and one of the most difficult learning curves was working on tasks that are important. Now, important to me might not be important to you however in either case we should always consider a few important questions to ask ourselves.
Most entrepreneurs working from home consider themselves "action people" they just "do it" they "make it happen" however most of the time they never ask themselves a few important questions. Leaping before they look so to speak. These tips have been shared with me before however as a frequent reader of Seth Goodin I was once again reminded,
1. Is it worth doing?
2. What was my impact?
3. Will it matter in the long haul?
4. What sort of connections did I create?
Wherever you live, whatever you do, you have an obligation.
This should be the basis of everything you do, all that you are and all that you should strive to be. Building your own network for your work at home business is all about making connections and making a difference in the lives of others – in turn you will see the success that you deserve. The impact and the difference you make in other peoples lives will define who you are and what you’re all about. To the degree that you make your inroads and make that impact is the foundation, and if done properly, will make a difference in the long haul. This will create a connection that will be of mutual benefit for life.
This is my interpretation of the above.

#2. What was my impact? : thats also a very good question... some people think that if they get something done, it WILL make a great impact on everyone else... well thats if it's something important, and if its not that important, then it shouldn't make a very great impact.
#3..Will it matter in the long haul? : Only if its very very important lol i think everyone sees where I'm going here... not important, dont do it.... important... do it.
#4.. What sort of connections did I create?.... i dont have a response to that question lol
Number 2 is something I rarely think about.
Numbers 3 and 4 well, I no longer work for pay, so I tend to do only what's necessary to keep the house police satisfied, and after that I play.
