What's for lunch today?

     Well today we decided to order out for lunch today. We are calling into a local deli and having delicious submarine sandwiches. I am having a turkey and cheese with lots of veggies on  a whole wheat roll. I love all of the delicious crunchy vegetables they make the sandwich. I will also be having a delicious lemonade which they make and bottle at this local deli. DELISH!

    Now if you were in Hong Kong as my coworker and friend recently was you could have one of the items pictured below.....

I am not quite sure what type of lizards and snakes these creatures are but seeing them on display at a deli/restaurant had to be an experience. My coworker wanted to share it with me and thought that this would be perfect for my lunch article....

Lizards anyone?

 

How about fresh smoked snake?

I think I would lose quite a bit of weight if I had to eat either of these!

Leftover pizza with banana pepper topping for me! I have to eat lots of it because we are planning on going over to the fair and don't want to spend a fortune on food there.

Smoked eel is a good thing - that's what might be pictured, amy.

I'm having a brunch - two boiled eggs and one slice of bread with two slices of cheese and butter, juice and more coffee.

If I'm around for lunch it is going to be leftover pizza. See, today's my last day at work, and so far, it's been rather uneventful,depressing, and not at all as I expected. I'll post about it later.

I am meeting a few friends at a local mexican restaurant. Most likely I am going to have some cheese dip and a chicken quesadilla.

I'm noshing a yogurt at the moment, waiting for my laundry to finish, so "I can shower, as I have to be to work at 2 this afternoon. boooo!!!
At work, i'll be snacking on fruit, yum!!!!, as I work in the produce department at a groccery store. We make fruit salad bowls every friday for people to snag instead of wasting time making their own. I have to do a little taste testing, just to make sure they turn out ok. lol.

I would love to be vegetarian. I have often said that I am going to one day. It is just so hard for me! I do love veggies though! Lots n lotsa veggies!

ewww.. I'll pass on the eel and lizard...I'd definitely be going vegetarian if I lived there and those were the menu choices LOL Im eating lunch very late today.. I'm having burritos.. the frozen kind ..El Monterey or something like that. Not too exciting, but if ya cover em in salsa and sour cream, not too bad. LOL I'm thinking pizza for dinner too. ..must be pizza night :O)

LOL SUZE!!! I buy the El Monterey frozen burritos and I melt a little cheddar on top and then salsa and sour cream em to death! They are good that way and nice and inexpensive!

Yup..that's what I do with em.. bury them in salsa and sour cream LOL I like the beef and bean kind, but I had to buy the bean and cheese instead last time, because Walmart had no beef and bean..so I really have to cover them up LOL ..but I changed my mind on the pizza, I've decided to have Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers instead.. Grilled White Meat Chicken & Roasted Red Pepper Alfredo Sauce mmmm mmmmmm goood

I have eaten snake and ah... other reptiles and I do not think they taste like chicken.... I find the texture somewhat odd and I do not care for the flavor..... I would not recommend them.... certainly not for lunch.....
