What's Your Favorite Sports Comedy? Win a "Leatherheads" DVD

In the movie Leatherheads, George Clooney plays Dodge Connolly, a swaggering, aging football hero who is determined to guide his team from bar brawls to packed stadiums.  But after the players lose their sponsor and the entire league faces certain collapse, Dodge convinces a college football star, Carter Rutherford (John Krasinski of The Office) to join his ragtag ranks. Rutherford though, may be too good to be true. Cub journalist, Lexie Littleton (Renée Zellweger) is determined to dig to sniff out holes in his war story. Meanwhile Rutherford and Dodge become off-field rivals.

Leatherheads is a hilarious sports comedy set against the stranger-than-fiction backdrop of the beginnings of pro-football.

Gosh there are so many... I'll say The Replacements. The clip with the exotic dancers errr cheerleaders and the pan onto the seating area with all the men sporting fistfuls of one dollar bills made me about pee my pants.

I collect Football DVDs. Don't have this one.

I really can't wait to see this. Clooney could sit on a stool reading his grocery list for two hours and I would be perfectly entertained...ha ha. I think my favorite sports comedy would have to be "Bull Durham"... Kevin Costner to Susan Sarandon: "I like long slow deep wet kisses that last three days"...Yeah, me too.

I don't watch many sports comedies (although, I do actually want to see "Leatherheads"). I guess my favorite would be "The Mighty Ducks."

I can't really think of many that I've seen. I guess Dodgeball is my favorite, or at least that I can think of now. My husband has been wanting to watch Leatherheads, though.

My very favorite is Caddyshack. I must have seen this movie a million times, well close to it since my children would watch it over and over again. With a cast consisting of Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, Ted Knight, Michael O'Keefe and Bill Murray there wasn't a minute between laughs!

I absolutely adore George Clooney. I would love to see this movie. I think my favorite sports comedy would be Caddyshack. Those gophers are just the cutest little things. My boyfriend tries to imitate the little dance they do just to make me smile.

I would have to say the first Major League is the best sports comedy. Charlie Sheen was awesome in it, and so was the rest of the supporting cast.

Oh, I would love to see Leatherheads, but because I'm a John Krasinski fan. I think I'm going to say for my favorite: Snowdogs with Cuba Gooding Jr. It was so funny. It was a toss up between that and the original Bad News Bears .

I can't believe there aren't any hockey fans here! SLAPSHOT is one of the all-time classics in sports comedy. Rent it sometime if you've never seen it. Hilarious is not even close to how funny this movie is!

My favorite has to be Major League! I laugh even when I THINK about that movie. Wesley Snipes, Charlie Sheen, Tom Berenger, Dennis Haysbert, etc. All of them were great in that movie!

"Charlie, how'd you like to manage the Cleveland Indians this year?"
"Oh...I don't know.....let me call you back..I've got a guy on the other line about some white walls..."

Perhaps it's because I am a native Clevelander and of course Cleveland hasn't won the World Series since 1948.

When Cleveland did get into the World Series in 1995, I was tending bar in a restaurant. When the helicopter shot panned over Jacobs Field announcing the beginning of the World Series, I OPENLY WEPT in front of my customers. I was SO EXCITED that it was happening!

I would have to say the Ringer is one of my favorites. Dodgeball and Blades of Fury are also ones I enjoy. Overall, though, I enjoy a LOT of sports comedies!!
