I just logged onto the "rewards centre" to find that they now carry more cards!! I have discovered that there is not only starbucks cards and target cards but also Amazon.com cards!!
I am working on saving my points to get a amazon card, and with that I will be purchasing some early christmas gifts for my boys. I can hardly belive it, Amazon not only has the "spiderman and friends" action figure characters but they have the 3 ones that we need to compleat our ENTIRE collection!!
So, with my points I will be getting the boys "Rhino, Mr. Fantastic, and Cyclops!!! Its so exciting!!

I like to think I am not so selfish, but it hurt to give over $100 of what I have made here on Gather!! Terrible isnt it? lol.
With the rest of my points, I am going to try and save them for an Amazon.com card, I'd like to buy myself a camera for my birthday, a nicer one then I have now. We will see though, I might have to cash them in for $$ to buy food one week until he gets paychecks again!
I have never once used the points I have earned on myself.. I kinda hate it!! It seems something always comes up right when i cash in and I always end up getting other people things....
Maybe someday I will get for myself!! For now watching my kids open the superheros is enough gift for me:)
I havent hit 3000 yet to get the cash option. I usually "cash out" at 1565:)
I didn't do as well as a lot of folks with the picture promotion, but I did better than last year, and that's what counts. It's hard not to compare yourself to others, but I am trying not to and just being happy with what I did get.
I love Gather, and hope that it keeps going. With the failure of other websites, I always get a little pang hoping Gather is maintaining its economic stability.

Of course the borders gift cards call to me, but I always get a better deal at Amazon.com lol. I do love to walk around Borders, but I usually make a list and buy from Amazon. I kinda like the cash option, because I don't really shop at most of the stores they have cards for.
