We just got our new tee shirt design approved and had a few made to sell at the Enlightenment-psych.net and I mulled it over and felt if someone were to want a shirt, buy it, what could they get out of it? The request I have from you is two-fold, honestly I need 50 more points to get my Target GC for some more newborn neices babyclothes and stuff--SECOND you as gatherers are genius individuals writing great articles, offering fabulous advice and gesturing towards creating peaceful harmony of being real people with real lives and real solutions for real problems, gains or losses. Therefore I seek your guidance on something . . . The tee shirts need to be bought for some greater purpose and that being part of the Enlightenment-psych.net is good because . . . " ---you fill in the blanks"
I thought maybe satisfaction of some kind, kind of a 'giving back to something' by buying into something. So I surfed some of the conservationalists sites, nature preserve sites, sites that have members sign all sorts of petitions for causes that they want heard, seen, fixed or dealt with accordingly. I thought what a great idea to market my designed shirts and allow any individual who signs up with the Enlightenment-psych.net to have a portion of the proceeds go to their favorite charity, or mine if they choose to support the same one.
I am not sure how to implement this sort of thing at my site and I am curious if anyone else has wanted to do something similar by giving back to the community or communities that help them so eagerly (and mine does BTW).
So does anyone here at gather have any ideas about promoting tee shirts for a cause on a domain already built but lacking this great addition somehow? I am not only looking for technical advice implementation but also design of marketing the tees, asking which causes you would like to see suported from my (ours if you come on board) domain and feel good about getting something that gives back . . .
any suggestions ? I am not sleeping cause this is keeping my brain firing off at every neurotransmitter with ideas but stumbling blocks too . . .

line. The design is certainly intriguing and attention-getting. I'm not a marketer but it looks like part of your mission is to promote Enlightenment-psych.net and I'm not prepared to help with that.
