According to rassmussen Obamas lead has went from 210-165 advantage to Obama-193,Mccain 183 electoral college votes.
Democrats should have won hands down this year after 8 years of Bush, but noooo, they had to choose a no experienced junior senator as their candidate. If an experienced, strong candidate(Hillary Clinton) had been chosen, she would have walked away with it.And still made history.
Mccain has gained a ton of support from white women voters(53%Mccain to 41% Obama) in the past week.Had Clinton been the candidate the dems would have kept those voters and added a number of independent women and a few republican women to boot.
Mccain and Obama are nearly tied in most of the polls now. With the national security issues, problems popping up with russia ,the war going a bit better, things are going down the tubes for Obama.

Good to hear Patti
Thanks Patti for the great news.
It seems the same thing occurred in 1984 when Geraldine Ferraro was selected as the VP candidate. A swing of over 10 points occurred, mostly among white females.
They also noted that such radical swings are temporary. After the public gets to know the candidates and their positions, most of the swing is reversed.
A tiny indication of what the world would be like if they ruled it........
