Florida's Legendary Pink Palace opened in 1928 during the Great Gatsby era, the Don CeSar Beach Resort was the dream of Irishman Thomas Rowe who found his fortune in Florida real estate.
The Don (as it is locally known) recently completed a $20 million enhancement project that includes a redecorated lobby with rich mahogany accents and vibrant upholsteries, a grand makeover of guest rooms with custom made wrought iron furniture, luxurious bedding and completely renovated bathrooms.
I went to a Nursing Seminar at the Don. It was catered by the Don's chefs and I must say the food was extravagant. The view from the dining area overlooks the pool and beach. Just beautiful!
Due to the uniqueness of the Don and the gorgeous views, The Don is a frequent venue for weddings. The day of the Nursing Seminar, they were setting up and preparing for an early evening wedding.
I'm not sure if I will ever have an opportunity to spend the night at The Don...
Single/Double: $169.00 to $374.00
Suites: $339.00 to $2,349.00
Penthouse: $1,799.00 to $2,939.00
But maybe someday...who knows, I might hit the Lottery.

We usually just go there for Sunday Brunch or visit their beach bar and then talk a walk on the beach. The food is out of this world and the whole place is five star - they have decent corporate rates and the occasional special so you might get lucky on a room rate.
Perfect place for a wedding or any celebration - it's well worth a visit and just check out the place or go to their restaurant, pool bar and gift shops.
