"What appears to be the end may really be a new beginning."
The theme for this week's 100 Word Stories is New Beginning

A time to live, a time to die. A season for all things. Haste makes waste.
Hilda recited these mantras through her mind; it's what got her through thirty years of hell. Divorce wasn't an option; the Church frowned upon it. Blood and gore made her faint.
She looked across her garden noticing the new buds upon the branches. How befitting. A new beginning.
She prayed, but thirty years was a bit long for an answer. So she helped God along. Surely He would forgive?
Special recipe. One teaspoon at a time. He always wondered why she loathed chocolate mousse.

love it!
Shelia, you know...I just have to have a murder somewhere! lol I think I'm finding a niche for crime with a bit of dark humor!
Veronica, you can hide so much in chocolate mousse! lol (I'm a private baker and studied Chemistry as well) Since this is only 100 words, brevity kept me from explaining that chocolate mousse was her husband's favorite dessert.
Wel done.
10 from me :)
Reena, I really couldn't resist! :) It's been such a while since I bumped someone off!!! :)
