Rescuing a Little Spaarow

A short time ago my 12 year old daughter, Dakota, came in to me quite upset because there was a little bird caught in a corner of the storage building across the street.  She had noticed the neighbor's cat acting all weird and went to investigate.  She found a small bird caught by the wing somehow on a corner of the building.


















It turns out the little guy was tangled up in his own nesting.  A piece of fishing line had gotten caught around his wing.  So we got him untangled and sent him on his way.








We got some video of us getting him loose, but wouldn't you know we missed the money shot of him flying off....lol.  He flew off just fine, just a bit traumatized, but physically fine.

Yes, it is a glove. I figured the little guy would be upset with me for trying to wrap my fingers around him to hold him still.
