August wild flower winners for photos in bloom

Sorry Im running behind on this.  I hate the search function. It makes thing so hard to find  all entries were required to have the tag august contest and those images were given the comment

If you didnt not get this comment on an entried then one of two things happened  you forgot the tag or gather would not let me see the image under that tag

Im doing this a little different  Im posting the top 6 not in any order and then i will state who the top image out of that group of 6

Thanks so much, Angela! LOL!!! I thought if you picked any of my shots you'd pick the one of the Deptford Pink, so this was a complete surprise. And first place!

Okay, so I just had to go and join Photos in Bloom first, and then go back to the article I thought would be a good feature and make sure I went and had it submitted to Photos in Bloom. So Angela, the article I picked is here.
