CHANGE NOT THY WILL (©Robert Burnham 09.07.2008)

The following meditation comes from my heart.  The photographs were taken along Route 1604 just south of San Antonio, Texas.  The dog?  Well, she's just an angel disguised as a canine with the mission to entertain me on my days off.

 

Change not thy will

Or my trials and sorrows to be

 

                            Change not thy plan

      Lord, just change me

 

 

Change not thy word

Let all your lessons stand

 

   

Change not thy love

Lord, hold my hand

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Change not thy fruit

Thy wisdom or thy Grace

 

 

Change not thy dinner hour

                                       Lord, just set me a place

 

 

 

 

 

                                        

                   Change not thy will

                 Change mine to yours

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Change not thy blessedness

 

Lord, change me, forevermore

Sharon, we actually found this place by accident while driving yesterday morning. I told the dog I would stop some place she could run. This spot looked like it would suffice. Never seen it before yesterday.
