Complete propaganda from a mouthpiece of the elite fat cats getting rich from the Bush Administrations largess, and the hoped for McCain administration largess. These people own 98% of the wealth in this country, and contrary to their hype, pay little, percentage wise, of the taxes. Much of their income doesn't come in under the income tax, it comes in under capital gains and in tax sheltered investments, offshore assets, etc. McCain's economic policy would insure that their frenzied feeding at the government trough, at our expense would be extended indefinitely. Are you better off than you were eight years ago? Are your children's futures better? your grandchildren's? Considering the massive deficit Bush tax give aways to the elite have wracked up for them to pay, I doubt it. That is the question you should ask yourself, and not be swayed by elitist propaganda such as this swill.

This country already punishes the successful. We certainly don't need that type of "economic Justice".

JRB, You say not some right wing publication or McCain's political camp I would have to answer that they do have an agenda that they wish to put forward. Who is their target audience? What is their slant on things? What is their agenda? These are questions we need to ask ourselves when we read any article especially in a publication we know nothing about. I did read the article and believe it to be very slanted. First it takes Obama's experience out of historical context. You can not judge past deeds out of historical context and judge then intelligently. I find this article filled with buzz words used for scare tactics. These words are used to divide and conquer. Meanwhile the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and the middle class, that used to be in the late fourties through the seventies the backbone of this country continue to disappear, because the buzz words they use place fear into the hearts of americans. To say "Economic justice" simply means punishing the successful and redistributing their wealth by government fiat. It's a euphemism for socialism. strikes fear into many americans hearts. After they read this they do not stop to think about what he is suggesting and whether it would be more economically, socially, or morally feasible. I am not saying I am for Obama or McCain. What I am saying is when reading any article you come across consider the source. Do they have an axe to grind? Do they have something to win or lose? Before you determine that the source is a good one or not.

Ok. I read it. So the author takes issue on Obama's use of the term economic justice, then goes on to mischaracterize some of Obama's proposals. Well if supporting healthcare and education are communist practices then call me a commie too.

I'm sorry if this is a snotty thing to say but when I first read the title of this article " A Nust Read On Obama" I thought it said A Nuts Read on Obama and after reading the article I think that would be apt.

I found the article very informative. What surprises me, but shouldn't, is the reaction of those commenting above who can't even -- apparently -- "smell the roses" when they are in full bloom. No matter. We Americans deserve what we get. If I get the chance I'll consider immigrating to a different planet. Things can't be that much more ridiculous than they are here.

Investors Business Daily is aimed at those who would find a tax increase under Obama -- high wage and capital gains. Thing about it -- should capital gains tax be effectively lower for the wealthy than income tax for those who are in lower wage brackets?

Terry...there used to be athing called the FAIRNESS DOCTRINE which basically stopped people from LYING..it was done away with in 87.....the beginning of the end of our democracy......

So I guess Obama supports a so-called Fairness Doctrine where conservatives must be fair and say on kind things about Obama. Yet the liberal can tell unlimited lies. No wonder The Fairness Doctrine was abolished, and done away with during the Republican years.

Investors Daily has been anti Obama from Day 1 and for reasons the business community thinks are pretty sound. They will be among the hardest hit groups if some of his plans are enacted.
