Hi everyone. I wanted to let you know that I will be in Las Vegas from Monday September 8th until Friday September 12th for the SuperZoo Trade Show.
My mom, Tanya P, will be taking over a few of my groups while I am gone. Mom suggested that I let you all know what I am up to in Vegas and provide you with some links that you can check out.
Last year a friend of mine and I invented a product to help pets cope with the loud noise of the force dryer in grooming shops. We’ve tested the product for over a year and found it to be very beneficial not only in the grooming shop but with pets at home as well.
This is the first trade show that I have ever been to as an exhibitor and I’m a little nervous about it but I’m excited all the same.
If you want to know more about where I am going and if you are a groomer or someone in the pet industry that might be interested in attending this show go to SuperZoo 2008.
If you would like to know more about the product that my friend and I invented go to the Happy Hoodie website. (Right now the video is not working on the website but we hope to have it going sometime this week).
Thank you so much for making all of my groups a lot of fun and I will see you when I get back. Everyone stay safe and have a great week.

By the way, as a pet grooming expert extraordinaire... do you know, or have an opinion on that Pedicure dog nail trimmer thing-a-ma-jig from TV ads, LOL. The one where instead of cutting, you grind off the long nails.
Never mind, I don't want to know if I wasted my money, ha ha. I broke down and already ordered one to find out.... ;-) I have a dog it takes three men and a baby to hold down during the ordeal, LOL. Thought I'd try anything...
Good luck!
Thank you everyone.
John: If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for that Pedicure thing? I've never used one but we will be looking for it at hopefully a discounted price there at Superzoo. I wouldn't mind trying it on my dogs as well because they are the same way. My opinion without trying it yet would be to be very careful with it. The dremel action causes a lot of friction and could cause severe heat within the dog's nail that you wouldn't necessarily know about until it was too late. That heat would be hard to cool quickly. I do know of at least one groomer who is refusing to use it for that reason. Just be careful and watch how your dog reacts to it.
LOL, yes, usually Kim just yells "attention" and the troop lines up for trimming, ha ha.
Thanks, I thought about the heat thing, because we use those types of tools where I worked all the time to deburr metal parts etc. Actually, if you happen to own a dremel tool already, they sell an adapter for that too; without having to buy the whole tool. There are a couple of types and prices depending on the size of your dog etc. One model is battery operated and another plugs into the wall and is lighter. That's the one Kim ordered.
I thought I might write a review about later, how the dogs handled it and all.
Here's the website below if you want to check out all the prices, types, and accessories. You'll have to copy and paste to your browser (sorry), I always forget how to make an active link here.

We'll see.... ;-)
