All photos were taken September the 5th 2008 with my Olympus C-2500L camera most in macro. In my yard in Ellensburg, Kittitas, Washington State. The first several pictures are all from my flowering plum bush, it's leaves change color all summer long, and it will have leaves of different colors all at the same time.
In early summer all of it's leaves are this color.

As summer progresses the leaves change color until late summer it looks like an early fall.
Heres a young leaf.

A very pretty one.

It even has some green leaves.

Yellow.

And orange.

Heres a shot of the bush.

My mountain ash berries are bright red-orange.

The tree looks so pretty, soon it's leaves will turn bronze.

The apples are ready to pick. I plan to fry, juice , and just eat them. Oh and share some also.

I was surprises to see the weeping birches leaves are starting to turn already.

My money plant will soon be ready for a dried arrangement.

I actually have a few yew seeds left on the bush. My grandkids love to pull them off and splat them on the driveway.

Great time of year but when you arrise in the morning, don't you just feel autumn in your bones ?
