What is your favorite part of Fall?

I love the crispness in the air. I love the color of the sky and the flowers this time of year. The pumpkins, the hay stacks, the corn. Ah the taste of hot buttered corn fresh from the farm.  Halloween, Thanksgiving, and taking long walks in the cooler weather. I just love this time of year.

Summer flowers starting to fade.

 

 

 Pink mums blooming again that were planted last year for our daughters wedding.

 

 

 

 

 My husband and I will also be married 34 years this September 14th. And on September 15th our daughter will be married for 1 year. This is such a special time of year for us.

What do you like most about the fall season?

I love the family get togethers, being able to light a fire in my fireplace and just sit and enjoy the crackling of the logs, the shopping and fall days before it gets too cold. To see the bright orange, yellow, and brown of the trees and to smell the cold as the wind whips through a light jacket. It's a time for old lovers to walk hand in hand down the side walk and new lovers to cuddle up under the blanket and whisper sweet endearments to each other.
The pictures are beautiful. And my daughters birthday is on the 12 of the September so it's a special time for me as well.

I don't like football, but football games are a good memory from highschool. I didn't go for the sport, I went to the games for the socialization. Half the time I didn't even know what was going on in the game, but if we scored a touchdown, I knew that was time to throw confetti!. Also, I was on the drill team one year, and thought that was so cool.

I like the cooler weather. I hate summer, I hate the heat. I love the changing leaves. It used to be fun to drive to PA to see the leaves. But, when the gas prices, you can't do that so much anymore.

I love the colors, and the feel of the air, it seems that in the fall things seem clearer, no worry about kids out of school, no worry of planning summer vacations just time to relax, and reflect.

I love autumn. I love Halloween and the changing leaves and the way the air starts to get crisp and cold. I love pumpkins, strawberry corn on doors, local apples. I love everything about fall, really.

I would say the colors of fall, the cooler temperatures.
I live in southeast Louisiana, no doubt about this answer, the cool air! We are still in the lower 90s here. I also love to watch the trees change colors!

The fabulous fall colors...........our trees are so breathtakingly beautiful in the fall.......I live in Iowa, and we always have the most spectacular colors......words can't do justice! Also, Iowa boasts the Covered Bridge Festival, In Winterset, home to John Wayne, as well as the setting for the book/movie, "Bridges of Madison County!" The covered brides are so beautiful, sitting amongst the elegant fall colors..........we also look forward to apple season.......love going to apple orchards and buying tons and tons of apples to make all those wonderful goodies! Fall is really sensational!
