This one time home of the Dawes family is now a museum. Located east of Columbus in Dawes Arboretum on RT. 13 near Jacksontown, Ohio, the home is open for tours on weekends, The following photos are only of the exterior,garden and grounds.
I can imagine the Dawes family sitting on their porch atop this central Ohio hill enjoying the beauty all around them and wanting to preserve it.
