I see a lot of people did a lot of different things over the Labor Day Weekend. I've enjoyed looking at photos of that weekend. Well, now here's ours. We didn't do anything exciting...and actually, it was WORK.

Poor Pher was worked...we first had to get the large tree branch down out of the other tree without it hurting anyone.

Yes, it was large.

Mike had a go at it too....Pher was exhausted.

Even Maggie was tired...

All of it had to be cut up too....which we didn't finish...the job was too big for one day.

I'm not allowed to touch the chainsaw. Bummer! Mike went through 2 blades on this tree.

You can see how high the brush pile is...we need to rent a chipper and get all of that chipped.
We still have pieces of other trees to deal with also, now that the branch is down.

Now a great shot...but this is what we had to contend with too...lots of flies, mosquitos, and other annoying insects.

Notice how much we still have left to cut....

Here's how big some of these trees are when they are still standing.

Yes, Angela had to help too.

Getting the pick up in and out is a royal pain. There isn't much room for error...

We took out another full load of wood to deliver to a friend that can use it this winter. That makes 4 truck loads so far....plus our small pile that we're keeping.....and we know there has to be at least 2 more left.

Here's my parting shot....hubby being a dork. He's always making faces for the camera...can't get one decent photo.
I had to help load wood, so that's why there isn't any of those shots.
