I will admit at the very start of this photo essay that the inside of the Rideau Antiques, antique house was a little daunting. It is as you will see packed to the ceiling and I became clustraphobic while inside. We returned on a week day where there were not so many people and I did buy some Occupied Japan Pieces.

In the corner of this room there had to be 1000 pieces of Occupied Japan. I was afraid to touch them.

Things were buried so deep you couldn't see anything. There were people who would help you if you were looking for something specific.

Marbles - I've used this photo before.

Need a door knob?

I know your not going to believe it but the photo above is the desk with the cash register on it! (see the VISA sign?)

There are a lot of collectables here.

Anyone need a spoon?

China?

Lots of lamps

The above photo is the rest room and I used it! There was a very small space for your feet. The rest of the floor is covered with stuff!

Oh my where do I look first!

Silver hanging from the ceiling.

This must be the kitchen section.

More lights and stuff. - opps this photo might need to be in the furniture barn.

My eyes are on overload.

Jingle Bells anyone?

More lamp parts

Lots of lighting fixtures and lamps.

Piles of silver with china in the background!

More spoons and vases.

Some real treasures here.

This was scary - I held the camera high to get this shot. It looked to me like a house of cards...

Cane or walking stick anyone?

My daughter and friends - one looking a little dazed (like me)

So if you see this sign, don't forget to stop!
I will go again - it was facinating!
My camera was a HP PhotoSmart 635

I hate when things are THAT crowded. I do expect clutter in an antique shop, but not that much - LOL
I am always going through the vintage room in my shop and decluttering as I clean it. I want folks to be able to pick up the items and examine them without causing an avalance - LOL
I saw several things in there that I would love to have !

Thanks.
I saw a wooden sign in a gift shop in Oregon that I wanted to buy. It had a bird picture on one end and on the other side it said, "It's been lovely but now I just have to scream." I wanted to buy it as that is perfect for me.
There’s a lot of things to look at, but I’d be afraid to touch things inside the house. It would take me a long time to shop there!:)
I don't think that I could have handled either and gone running out of there with Elie! :o)
