By Monday, many were talking about the absence of a bounce for Obama. They were sort of correct. He's got one now and it's not from the convention but from...Palin.
The biggest bounce came yesterday when, for the first time, he reached 50% from Gallup daily tracking. It's safe to say that milestone is not the result of the convention alone, granted many Hillary Clinton supporters are coming home. The Clinton supporter reaction might have also been triggered by the pick of solid pro life, pro gun, anti sex education VP.
We shall see but if you are looking for trends, this is how the cookie crumbles so far.

Lets wait until the end of the GOP Convention to see where it ends up, but the 50% is a great indicator.
